{ Delish Appetizers | Superbowl Weekend }

Even though I wouldn't call myself your typical football fan, I absolutely love what the combination of football and food can accomplish... bringing friends and family together! So this weekend wether your eyes are glued to the TV or focused on your company,  I assure you that you will need delicious foods to complete the experience!   I am usually scrambling to find some new & fun appetizers at the last minute that will not only be easy, but also unique & a crowd favorite!  I have compiled a list of some of my favorite choices that will keep everyone hanging out at the food table!

First up.. Baked Figs with Goat Cheese. Is your mouth watering yet?! I absolutely love this recipe and my husband even ate them... which says A LOT.



  • 6 medium sized figs
  • 2.8 ounces soft goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon chopped sage
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

This recipe screams football party!   It's pretty difficult to mess up anything involving cheese, bacon, and sour cream! This dip will surely be a crowd favorite!  


  • 1 pound bacon, cooked
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato seeded and chopped
  • 2-3 green onions, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Additional green onions, cooked bacon, tomato, and lettuce to garnish, if desired!

You know you have a good thing going when your food is almost too beautiful to eat! Luckily it tastes even better than it looks!  It is also extremely healthy and filling... double win! 



  • 1 1/2 raw large cleaned shrimp 
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce 
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder 
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tbsp avocado oil 


  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste 


  • 2 large sweet potatoes 
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil 
  • 1 tbsp chipotle powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
